I am in the Diocese of Shrewsbury
with easy access to the Diocese of Wrexham and the Archdiocese of Liverpool,
however I hope this blog will help coordinate any attempt throughout the British Isles with contacts internationally. Feel free to
contact @ liz.lianne(at)yahoo.com (written as such for anti-spam purposes). I
hope to use yahoo groups and social media in future also.
Aims of this blog explained
I have started to
put together contacts which I'll post the links in due course. Adoration
groups (called cenacles on one site) of Spiritual Mothers of Priests and also
Friends* of the Sacred Priesthood. There are some formation courses mainly
based over in the States. If in doubt, ad Jesum per Mariam, as all priest-sons
of our Lady are called to through total dedication of their life, putting their
Bride the Church first before their life. If Spiritual Mothers dedicated their
lives ad Jesum per Mariam in support of priests trying to do just this, all the
rest should be lifted up to holiness also through the hearts of their Spiritual
Mothers.
This blog is also
for the protection of the Sacred Priesthood and for the promotion of true
complementary feminine vocation taking the Blessed Mother as example, who not
only was there are the foot of the Cross on Calvary, but also at that same
sacrifice made present on the altar during Holy Mass, and in taking the
apostles to her heart with living out truly “behold thy son”. I don’t want to be repeating anything
elsewhere on the web, but to be a coordinating blog to enable the practical
application of the Vatican document, and if I dare repeat the response of my
parish priest when I mentioned about the document “Eucharistic Adoration for
the Sanctification of the Clergy and Spiritual Maternity”: ‘that is definitely
needed’.
*Friends being
anyone who will commit to pray and to spiritual support of priests. Spiritual
Motherhood will be the focus on this blog, but we are bound to find Friends of
the Sacred Priesthood along the way and this is to be encouraged for the
support of the priesthood, as there are too many enemies of the Sacred
Priesthood.

Spiritual Motherhood of Priests
Welcome to this info blog that is for the promotion of the vocation of Spiritual Maternity of Priests.
For an organised set up based on our Canadian cousins and their tried and tested organised approach, details of which can be found at www.spiritualmotherhoodofpriests.ca
The document "Eucharistic Adoration for the Sanctification of the Clergy and Spiritual Maternity" can be found on their site,or can be googled, and the little catechism of spiritual motherhood can be found on the site also.
There is a search for consecrate feminine souls to become spiritual mothers of priests and it's open to married, single or those consecrated. It is also possible for associates men and women who will help in the work of prayer for priests.
It is hoped that there will be an annual meet with official consecration as spiritual mothers of priests, along with more regular local meets for support, ongoing formation and prayer.
The patron is our Lady of sorrows and that is also the marian day for consecration to our Lady.
